A fictional business
Hearth & Fell is not a real cafe. Ferngill is not a real place. This website is a concept piece designed and built by Lakeline Digital, a web design studio working with businesses across Cumbria, to show what a complete cafe and bistro website can look and feel like. Any resemblance to a real business, place or menu is coincidental.
Privacy
This site has no backend. Nothing entered into any form here, including the booking flow and the demonstration checkout, is transmitted or stored anywhere. There are no cookies, no analytics and no trackers. The card form is a simulation and no payment details ever leave your browser.
Bookings and tickets
Because the business is fictional, bookings and supper club orders made here do not reserve anything, anywhere. The confirmation screens are demonstrations of the experience a real venue's customers would get, backed by a live reservations system.
Imagery
Photography is licensed stock, credited in the project's image manifest. It depicts no real venue called Hearth & Fell.
